Tessa Wittman worked as a sound engineer in the cool Minneapolis area before heading way west to Maui, Hawaii. After a stint as a bit of a beach bum, she began working on a goat farm doing everything from soup to nuts and become quite fond of the little beasties.

But the grass doesn't grow under Tessa's feet and soon she was heading east again; this time she landed in Penland, NC where she studied Blacksmithing at the Penland School of Craft; one of the few places in the country where you can actually learn to be a competent blacksmith.
Tessa has since opened up shop in the fashionable Wedge building in Asheville, NC. She sculpts metal. If she needs a tool (like, perhaps, a new forge), she makes it. She's taking a liking to creating Damascus cleavers and knives which are almost too beautiful to use.
